    Smorgasburg

I sure love a park day—even when it’s mostly about humans stuffing their mouths with food. That’s why I didn’t complain when my pawrents took me today to Smorgasburg in Prospect Park. Besides, in order to get there, we had to walk across the park anyway, so I had got my fun before we even sat down. We even found a nice grassy area with no people around where I could run in circles! Once I exhausted my great puppy energy, we walked right to the food courts, and the smells that hit us were almost too much! The beef, the pork, the chicken, not to mention all the puppy…

    Coney Island

Today, we took the subway again but, interestingly enough, the south-bound train this time. Initially, it took me by surprise but then a dreadful thought came to me: it’s a haircut day! That must be it, I thought, as we came to a stop in the station by the groomer. I can take the haircut just fine, but the thing is that first they give you a shower, and then another one once they’re done! And showers I hate… My heart was beating hard in nervous anticipation. The doors opened. We sat still. The doors closed. Once we moved along, I could finally calm down and relax—no haircut today.

    Industry City

This morning, the three of us got out of bed early. Usually, this means a family hangout day, especially with decent weather outside, as it was. Until around noon, both humans had been busy, but surely enough, we finally set out for another little trip. First, we had to stop by a pharmacy. You know how it is with humans and their errands. They always go around buying stuff, or doing laundry. They can’t just stay put and relax. I have never done laundry in my life, and I’m totally fine. But I digress… After that, we headed towards a subway station. I don’t really mind trains. Cars are another…

    The Tap Room

When I looked out the window this morning, I immediately knew it was gonna be a good day. The sun was up; the flying squirrels were chirping excitedly (you can’t really chase those, so I only barked along); a warm gust of air carried all the smells right inside. I took a few sniffs and I could already feel the next adventure brewing up. My morning walk was good, as was my midday nap. Then, in the late afternoon, my humans started getting ready, and I knew we were heading out soon—my guess was, to the park. But not this time. Instead, we went for a long walk and eventually…

    First Day Of Real Spring

Today was the first day of spring. The real spring. It was supposed to start last month but so far it’s been too cold to go to the park, at least according to my humans who have been complaining about the weather for some time. Indeed, weather in Brooklyn can be quite unpawredictable. Anyway, today was the day we got to go and finally have some outdoor fun!
